GROOMER ASSISTANT 7
Enjoy working with pets and want to join the field of pet grooming in the rapidly growing pet industry? This certificate program provides students with the basics of how to assess the grooming needs of the various breeds. Students learn the practical skills and techniques for maintaining a healthy coat and performing pre-bathing, post-bathing, and finishing stage procedures according to the standards of each breed.
To qualify for this certificate, you must complete the program within two years.

Note 1: In order to register for courses in this program, students are required to complete and submit an
application form, which will be available February 1, 2010.
Note 2: Recognition of graduates by the International Professional Groomers, Inc. is pending.
Note 3: Graduates can complete evaluations for the Certificate of Bather/Fluffer and Licensed Dog Groomer's Assistant with the Grooming Institute of Canada.
