This course is accepted as the chemistry prerequisite for programs at Algonquin College including the two year Practical Nursing diploma. It is not accepted as the prerequisite for the four year BSc Nursing degree program. Students study matter, the atom, the periodic table, chemical bonding, the mole, chemical reactions, gas laws, and an introduction to organic chemistry. |
