This 130 hours course is designed to give students the necessary knowledge and skills to become a qualified Ministry of Transportation Approved Driving Instructor as per Regulation 586 of the Highway Traffic Act. Requirements: Applicants must hold a valid Canadian or American Driver's Licence with a minimum of four years driving experience. Out-of-province or U.S.A. applicants require a two year driver's licence abstract, must have a good driving record (must have 0 demerit points and completed a MTO test), and be at least 21 years of age. All applicants must complete a MTO driving instructor licence application in advance of the training course. |
