This course is designed to give students an in-depth understanding of the criminal laws, civil laws, and procedures they are likely to encounter in their careers as public or private investigators. Students examine laws such as the Private Investigator Act, the Criminal Code of Canada, various provincial laws, and privacy legislation. Ethics for public and private investigators are discussed. |
