Students learn some of the small languages provided in every UNIX system that can be used to create small programs. Advanced editing, both interactive and programmatic, is covered. Techniques for comparing files are discussed. Students also learn how to edit and manipulate text files, locate files/directories from archival formats and advanced KORN shell features. |
